Landacape & Light Portfolio

These photographs reflect years spent exploring the wild landscapes of Arizona. The work moves between intimate observations, expansive terrain, and the human experience within these places.

Field Details

Not every landscape reveals itself through grand views. This collection focuses on smaller observations — patterns, textures, light, weathered surfaces, and fleeting details often overlooked in the field. These quieter moments help shape a deeper sense of place.

Wild Arizona

Arizona’s landscapes extend far beyond the desert floor, from canyon country and forests to grasslands, rivers, and high elevation terrain. This collection reflects the diversity, scale, and changing moods of wild places across the state. Together, they form a broader portrait of the Southwest.

Human Presence

Time outdoors is often shaped by movement, observation, and shared experience. These images explore the relationship between people and landscape — moments of scale, reflection, curiosity, and connection within wild places. The landscape remains central, while human presence adds story and perspective.

Desert Light

The Sonoran Desert changes constantly through season, weather, and shifting light. These photographs explore quiet moments, texture, atmosphere, and the subtle character of the desert landscape. Many were created during early mornings and evenings when the desert feels most alive.
